Reflecting on the first few months of Giggle, Glitter Grow: the fun, the challenges, and the learning curve

Hello, lovely friends and fellow sparkle seekers!

I can hardly believe it — Giggle Glitter Grow has officially been open for a few months now! What an adventure it’s been so far. Starting this little shop has been equal parts exciting, fun, and yes, challenging. If you’ve ever started a creative project or business of your own, you probably know exactly what I mean!

When I first dreamed up Giggle Glitter Grow, I wanted to create a place that spreads joy, laughter, and positivity through fun tees and mugs. And while that heart-driven goal has kept me inspired, the journey itself has been a huge learning curve. From figuring out SEO(still working on that; its definitely a HUGE learning curve) to juggling marketing, product photography, and customer care — it’s been a whirlwind of new skills and constant discovery.

The fun moments? They’ve been countless! Like hearing from someone who loved one of my punny designs, my favorite to create; I love a good pun, or finally nailing that perfect product photo; much harder than you would think. Every small win has felt like a sparkling celebration.

But the challenges? Oh, they’re real. Sometimes it feels like there’s a million things to learn all at once — from mastering online tools to understanding what really clicks with you all, my amazing community. It’s a process of trial and error (alot of errors; lol) , patience, and growth. The discouragement when you see all the Instagram gloss shops who claim they take 15 mins to create, upload and post a new design. For me; its hours worth of work. Its thinking up ideas then coming up with images to match the idea or finding the right words, the right font; who knew it would be so difficult. I also am a perfectionist and that contributes to the time because I want it to be perfect. 

What’s kept me going is my love for this project, the creativity of inspiring and funny t-shirts and for YOU, the people who come here to find a little lightness and laughter in your day. I’m so grateful for your support on this new adventure.
